Thermoreactor
with microprocessor controlled temperature and
heating time and digital display
The thermoreactor ECO 6 is purposely designed
for COD analysis and also for wet digestion of
samples in the evaluation of metallic and non
metallic elements in organic and inorganic materials
(ores, alloys, animal feed, soils, sediments,
tissues, etc.).
The instrument allows setting of time and temperature
in wide intervals with high precision and reproductivity.
It allows simultaneous operation for 6 samples
of 20 ml. The precision is very similar to the
precision obtained with the traditional method
employing large volumes and reflux refrigerator,
although saving reagents.

The
laboratory stirrers model LH and DLH are characterized
by a high torque allowing their use with highly
viscous liquids.
The powerful motor with a sturdy construction
is microprocessor controlled assuring a constant
speed also if variations of viscosity of the stirred
liquid occur.
Choice of stirring speed between 50 and 2000 rpm.
A progressive start avoids spillages of stirred
liquids.
A safety system against "over loads"
protects the equipment in case of improper operation
or motor failure.
The quality of manufacturing materials allows
a continuous noiseless and precise operation,
absolutely reproducible. The manufacturing technology
assures a safe and easy use with a limited volume
and weight.
The accurate ergonomic project, the modern and
compact structure make these two models particularly
attractive not only for their technical features
but also for the nice design.
The model DLH is equipped with two digital displays
showing clearly the set and the actual speeds.

Digesters
with increases of temperature
Instruments for wet digestions of liquid or solid
samples projected according to G.L.P. Good Laboratory
Practise.
The range from room temperature to 450°C is
able to satisfy all the requirements for standard
and Kjeldahl digestions.
The analysed sample is up to 15 ml for liquid
or 5 g for solids. The digestion time varies according
to the treated material and to the used methods.
The Velp digesters allow a work in reproducible
conditions, with a full safety, saving chemicals,
work and space in comparison to the traditional
methods.
It is possible to remove the evolved fumes using
specific accessories without the use of a fume
hood.
The structure of the digesters is manufactured
from stainless steel and is protected by a special
resin and paints giving a high resistance to chemicals
and mechanical corrosion.
The heating block holding the test tubes allows
an optimal distribution of heat al all the selected
temperatures.
Its location within the instrument avoids that
in case of liquid spillages these will reach and
damage Internal parts.
The temperature of the heating block is controlled
by dedicated electronics with a microprocessor.
The temperature probe does not require a calibration
which is performed by the electronics at each
turning up. This allow a very good precision and
repeatability of tests. It is possible to upgrade
the software of new version by using a personal
computer for the innovative electronics with microprocessor.
